I have a 2-day stop over here before I trek up to Montreal later this month. Might even go through Newport, if I feel adventurous enough. Aside from what I see on the web site here, are there other little known gems I should seek out for some great VT beers?? On tap, etc?? Thanks in advance...

Yep. Make the trek down to Mule Bar in Winooski or head into downtown Burlington is the best bet other than 14th Star.

Thanks guys, I've been to Mule Bar and all the great places in Burlington. Just looking for something good (I know, not AS good) but good, on my way to Canada. Thanks again.

The places listed on BA are pretty much all the options. 14th Star is worth a stop for sure.

A family friend who lives with his family in Rutland tells me to visit Four Quarters Brewing. He loves this place. Anybody else have any experience here?? Thanks, as always...

It’s great. Winooski. A few minutes from downtown Burlington. You probably can find cans for sale too.

Mill River in St. Albans is a fine brewpub (all female owned) with spectacular BBQ. They just started canning last fall, their beers are getting better, perhaps not as good when they first started.

Kingdom Brewing in Newport is mainly the only thing there.
