Beaver Island has for sure improved. I was impressed with the Oktoberfest this year. Their Hazy Daisy was amazing. Their new Revival IPA was quite good. However their Ripple and Union Suit aren't that good. Union Suit was the first beer I got from them, and it totally lacked flavor. I hope they continue to improve, and am looking forward to their bottle release of Magnolia Barrel Aged Stout this Saturday.

That Magnolia sounds good. I tend to agree on Union Suit but I actually like their Ripple as a blonde ale. Bready/crackery maltiness....good easy drinker with flavor..

The Magnolia is going to be a very limited bottle release - only 100 bottles. I don't know if it will be on tap, but I have to go back to work after getting a bottle, so I won't be able to try it if it is on tap.

Probably review it on Sunday for NBS.

Based on their beer guy, they won't get anything. I wouldn't count on that being correct, but I don't know for sure.

I do know that I've gotten it at the Coborns liquor in Clearwater.

Unless things have changed the St. Cloud area distributor who I think is Viking does not get any their line must be Clearwater I know it has been at that Coburns in the past. I think it's because Bernicks is the Budweiser distributor and Viking had goose island under contract when they were bought out by InBev so they are doing everything they can to squeeze them out of that contract.... mind you all hear say I don't actually know what I am talking about

What? Periods & commas would make your post a bit easier to understand.
Doesn't C&L distribute Bud products in the St. Cloud & surrounding area?
Westside Liquor in Little Falls always gets BCBS products, so Waite Park store should get the same.

Beaver Island Brewing Magnolia. 100 bottles produced. They totally knocked it out of the park! This is an amazing BA stout. So rich, and complex with flavor. If you're here, and stop at Beaver Island, and it's on tap - TRY IT!

Closest place for BCBS variants the cities? Or anywhere closer to St. Cloud?

I'd say that the cities is your best bet.
