St Francis Brewery in St Francis , Wisconsin (a suburb of Milwaukee) closed a few years ago. Their beer was always top rate, but the food in the restaurant for some reason went down hill. It is now open for business again, and it`s better than ever. They hired an experienced Brewmaster and whole new staff. I checked it out last week. Both beers I had were very good, and food and service was top notch. If you`re ever in the area, give it a try. The ending to the previous iteration of this brewery was a disaster. Never had issue with service in the dining area but the bar was always mismanaged with too much staff that couldn't serve alcohol and the ones who could serve the alcohol had no idea what they were doing; so much time lost trying to get a refill on my beer. Been to the new place twice and agree it has really turned around for the better and enjoyed my food, the service and the beer. Hopefully they keep it going and make this a good place to visit again.
We really enjoy the new St. Francis brewery! I was impressed when the brewmaster came in and asked what we thought. My input was they have a really good brown ale that needs just a little something extra to make it truly outstanding, but I'm not sure what. The brewmaster agreed. He's working on it. We went to their Oktoberfest weekend celebration and were really impressed. I really appreciate how much more personable everyone is compared to the end of the previous version.
