I will be at a conference at the Tradewinds next week. Any good beer bars/brewpubs within walking distance. Also, are Cigar City beers readily available in stores?
There aren't any brewpubs there. I don't think there are any great beer bars, either, but I don't live on the beach or hang out that way very often anymore so I would defer to a fellow BA who does. Yes, for sure. The core ones anyway. And there's a Publix (our grocery chain) fairly nearby. If you have some free time and can Uber, here are two suggestions (in order of how I'd do them): * You can head just over the Intracoastal to Gulfport to eat at Peg's, the original location of Cycle Brewing and where they still serve it on tap. Plus, food is solid, vibe is cool and people are even better. * You can head up Gulf Boulevard to Mad Beach Brewing (Madeira Beach) if you're dead-set on going to a brewery out on the beach.
