Hi, I see there is a store named ShoreBirds Package on the island. Can anyone speak to the selection available at the store? I see in last summer's Instagram posts they have a decent selection at various times including having Civil Society during June/July time frame. Any intel on the breweries/beers they have here will be appreciated. Headed there the later part of July and was curious if I needed to bring some with me or pick up once I get there. Cheers! Peter

If you have the time to kill, I'd say make a run to Total Wine And More in Jacksonville. A little more than an hour drive south. Not Beer related but head over to Southern Soul BBQ on St. Simons Island. You won't regret it. Enjoy.
^^ Thanks and I will be bringing some beer with me - likely will pit stop for one night in Charleston on our way in and hit Charles Towne Fermentory that night. Hope that ShoreBirds Package has some good stuff a swell. Definitely will hit the BBQ spot!
If you're going to Charleston run up to Mt Pleasant and get some Mexican Cake from Westbrook Brewing Company.
Back form St Simons Island trip and it was great. Shorebirds Package craft beer selection was fantastic. They had beers available from Magnanimous, Civil Society, Parish, Tripping Animals, SpinalTap, Toppling Goliath, Maine, Charles Towne Fermentory and others. The Southern Soul BBQ soot was delicious was great as well. Thanks to all for the intel!
