My fiance is heading to Stamford next week. Unfortunately I am not going. Is there any thing that would be of interest there? Trying to fing things I can't get in PA or local breweries not to be missed....Two Roads Road 2 Ruin sounds good, but I don't know the availability. She's staying at the Zero Degrees hotel for proximity info. Thanks!

Arrange for her to visit BevMax on East Main Street, which is not far from Zero Degrees. Instruct her to purchase a not insignificant amount of New England Brewing Co's Gandhi-Bot double IPA. It comes in four packs of 12oz cans. Drink it. It's good.

Gandhi Bot is hit or miss at Bev Max in my experience. Should also try Fairway as I've seen Gandhi Bot there more frequently. Unfortunately, there is no fantastic go to beer store in Stamford. Have to head up to Norwalk to 99 Bottles or Total Wine.

Funny. If I were you I would save the money and buy peer in PA. Bell's HopSlam season. Have you tried Fegley's HopSolutley or their bourbon Stout. Can't get in CT better than GBot. CT is a bit of a beer wasteland IMO. You can send her to my house I have cans of Surly Abrasive and. Bottles of Zombie Dust and Pliny The Elder.

She's already back....got a case of the Bot. I live very close to Brewworks and have had both. I like Abrasive and Heady a bit better that GB, but I do like it.
