Hey everyone - I just got done racking/bottling/kegging beer and used Star San as my sanitizer. I used .6oz of SS to 33.5fl oz of water in a spray bottle. Did I use an unsafe amount? Is the beer safe to drink?
That's about 15 times the recommended concentration. .04 oz is about right for that size bottle (that' about 1/4 tsp). While I don't pretend to speak with authority, I suspect the dilution in the beer is low enough to be inconsequential.
