Starkeller Peach: Completed Trades

Not much help on what it takes but I got one in a trade for Crooked Stave and Russian River. It was one that was an open trade of "Yeah just send me some MN beers"

 

Actually looking back the main part of the trade on my end was FW Sucaba and Parabola

 

Was happy to get 6 Heady and 2 SoS from @JmeWalton for a bottle. Went 2:2 for CW17 and Abraxas from @trevor_s and got a Mexican Cake from my old pal @MOVERTON1284

 

I've done a couple trades with SP. I traded 3 SP for a Fou Foune in one trade. In the other I traded 2 SP for a Mexican Cake and 4 Cans of All Green Everything. Hope that's helpful.

 

Traded one for a 4pk of Imperial Bourbon Barrel Mayan Mocha, also traded 2 and a Framboise du Nord for Green Man Maceo and Willet Blackbeerd.

 

I've completed two $4$ trades with Starkeller - one for '15 DL and another for MC (they made up on their end for the price difference).

 

Starkeller was a great beer, but I heard it hit distro and people could buy it by the case. Is that true?
I have no idea what it cost though.

 

Due to our awesome laws here in MN, the brewery could not sell it even if they wanted to, it had to hit distro. Most stores only got a case, the bigger stores got a little more. While it is still out there, it really flew off the shelf. Average price I saw it for was around $16/$17.

 

We have the same crap in TX for Breweries. Brewpubs can do both, but there are limits and rules
Perhaps my friend was exaggerating when he said he saw multiple pictures of people with two cases.
Was a hell of a peach bomb beer.

 

With some work, I am sure it was possible. I did hear of at least one person buying a case at a store and wouldn't doubt it happened at other stores. Previous releases in the series did not fly off the shelf like this, so I am guessing some stores didn't care or were just happy it sold.

I really enjoyed the beer, my favorite in the series so far.

 

As far as distro, we got some here in Madison but only 6 bottles per store, 1 pp limits.
