Not a new member and I don't trade here often, but I just completed a trade and went to the FAQ on how to start a trade which led me to this page. https://www.beeradvocate.com/trading/ The problem is the FAQ says it will lead me through the trade process, but there are no info or instruction on how to actually start a trade. Can anyone help me it's been a several months since i've traded here.
Hey LGHT, I apologize for my confusion but I really don't understand your question. You have 9 completed trades listed over the past several month's so are you saying you didn't start any of those trades?
Go to main trading tab. It will show the most recently left feedback on the page. If you are on a computer, about half way down on the right side it will have a “find user” search box. Find the person you want to trade with. After finding them you should see a blue box that says “request trade” If you are on a phone (maybe tablet) the find user box will be all the way on the bottom of the page.
I’ve answered this question a lot of times, even to users with plenty of competed trades. I think a lot of people never end up on the page with the “find user” box because they follow tabs directly to one of the sub-forums
Simply trying to establish the OPs starting point. The first step in starting a trade is finding a trading partner.
Or to request and official trade through BA trading system, click on the users name (this could be in your message inbox, on trade forum, etc). Their user info box will pop and you find their trading statistics in that popup. The bottom left will say "Trading" and will have stats next to it, one being a % and the other a number. Hover over that and that is link to their trading profile. Once there, there is a blue button that says "request trade."
Thanks both. I haven't completed a trade here in months and was trying to follow the FAQ which is horribly wrong. The problem with the FAQ is it takes you to YOUR trading page and from their there is no possible way to initiate a trade. I was able to initiate a trade by clicking on the PM of the users and at the bottle find the trade button that allowed me to start a trade. Someone should probably fix that FAQ. The only thing worse than having an FAQ page is having an FAQ page that gives you WRONG INFO!
That's not true When you go to your page...... You go to the bottom and search for the members you are trying to trade with That's how you initiate from your page

Sorry, it was a poor attempt at a joke (fake news, fake FAQs...lame I know). Contrary to OP, I'm in agreement with you that the FAQs do explain how to start a trade request.
