Near a decade ago I decided to stop collecting bottles of beer for collecting sake. I used to just have them all in my basement in boxes. Since I’ve kept lambic, wilds and the occasional stout for a few years either in my fridge or just stashed around in a closet but the bottle count is always under 10. Today I received my de garde keepers/tavour boxes and it contains 20 bottles total. Now in an apartment the plan is to just keep them in their boxes and put a blanket over it. Is there a more economical/practical option?
As long as its not in direct sun or 80+ degrees in your place I think you'll be just fine. Keep a few in the fridge and the rest in the box in a closet. Also dig the username. Misfits fan?
Appreciate the reply. It’s good to have confirmation. i was listening to the very song when i created this account, so i went with it.
I arm wrestled Doyle at a Lollapalooza when I was a kid. It was when he was doing a split tour with Marky Ramone. It was one set Ramones one set Misfits. After the set Doyle was signing autographs and I thought id be funny challenging him. He slammed me hard and fast with no shame. LOL
This is an amazing story. When you say “kid”, what was your age? I didn’t know either played lollapalooza. I think ramones played 96. Also this doesn’t surprise me. Doyle and Danzig are giant turds and graves as well.
Hey, we are the same age. Do you still listen to the misfits? Is it just me or has the grey skull logo become a beacon for the far right?
Yeah, I definitely still listen to them. Are you saying that the current lineup is super political and are open about that or old fans are abandoning their roots and endorsing fascism?
Neither. Although it’s known Jerry is a trump supporter and Danzig has shit talked on democrats, but I see a lot of the same stickers on vehicles that promote far right ideals along side of a grey skull sticker embossed with the American flag or blue lives matter flag.
Yeah. Weird for sure. I’ve got the die die my darling single print, I bought when I was like 16? once a last pointed at it and said “for whom the bell tolls!” And I could just reply “time marches on!”
