Apollo should be hitting shelves this week, if it hasn't already!

I'll have to do some scouting today! Some friends in WA state ordered a bunch and have been drinking it this week and . . . that just seems unfair!

Only place right now that has it in Syracuse is Party Source. Other places should be getting it throughout next week!

They were out by the time I got there. :slight_frown: They did say they were hoping for more next week.

However, for those of you looking for Wookey or Parabola, they had plenty of both. I forgot to count, but I would guess a dozen (plus or minus), at least, Parabola on the counter.

    Hey everyone,

I'm headed to a wedding in Rome tomorrow. I'm coming from Rochester so I figured I'd try to make a stop on the way. Time is tight, but I'm looking for Parabola, Founders, and Jolly Pumpkin (and other sours/lambics). Would you recommend hitting Galeville or Party Source (I've never been to either). Thanks!

I say galeville as they have plenty of founders and jolly pumpkin... And had a full shelf of parabola as of six tonight. I hope it lasts so I can grab more!!!

Awesome! Thanks for the tip. Founders and Parabola haven't made their way to Rochester yet (Wookey came Tuesday). It seems like the distributors take better care of you guys(Shehans?) and I'll have to get in the habit of driving the way.

Spot on. They seem to be very good to the local folks in cuse. They have all the brands. Cheers!

Ok, I *really* need to get my butt over to Galeville. Nine months in Syracuse, and I have yet to.

I'm out of town at the moment, but I will say that next week the coop will have Apollo for sure and hopefully another case of Parabola.

We also just put on a third Line for growler fills, and are looking forward to the official launch of our growler program with a Sixpoint tasting and tap takeover on June 15 from 5-7. At the event we will also debut our house branded growlers. Come on out, I'll be hanging out with Adam and taking general beer nerdery all night.

It's not exactly "Syracuse" but there's a pretty bad ass Beer Club happening in Auburn (yes, THAT Auburn). We meet every 3rd Wednesday, 7pm til about 9, 9:30 (ish, Holidays etc could tweak the schedule) at Tinker's Guild on Franklin St. Last night we sampled Blue Point Blueberry, Apollo, Ayinger Weizen Bock, Smutty's Wheat Wine, Troeg's Flying Mouflan and Wookie Jack (which is freaking amazing btw). Additionally they always put out a huge spread of food. Last night there were over 50 people in attendance, club membership is almost 100 people. $15 per session/meeting. WELL worth it.

Also, there's a Byrne Dairy right across the street with a decent selection of beers, or D&L is just up the road (shhh...it's our super secret double awesome bottle shop that you'd never suspect was a double awesome bottle shop).

If you're interested, BM me and I'll send you Tinker's peeps email address.

Indeed D & L is awesome.....actually was at D & L yesterday with a couple of my friends...and I think the owner was there too, who seemed to be a pretty nice guy...guess he was glad that I was spreading the word to my friends (even better if it means more good beer at the shop)....Cheers!!!

I was @ d&l 2 days ago, wish I had gotten a growler of Brett & I while I was there... On the hunt for parabola now.

Yep, d&l had/has it, only 1 growler review to go off, but it seems pretty promising. And I believe Marcy discount is carrying xtra gold and CL DIPA bottles full time now... Still a hike to Utica, but definitely worth picking up...finally cny is finally going to start carrying CL!!

Indeed they have them both. $4.99/ bottle of Captain's Reserve, $10.49/ bottle of Xtra Gold. Took a lot of restraint not to buy the Xtra Gold today, but I had to spring for a bottle of the Captain's Reserve.

Wow, if we could only be so lucky to get the captain full time up here! I am trying to stay optimistic with Scott starting the bottling line for 6pks. I know TJ Sheehan is working on getting them up here. I'm sure the demand is so wicked that downstate is keeping the Vaccarro's so busy, we might be a little further than we want to be. I freaking love CL brews... I wish Bob would start backhauling more to J Ryan's like he did before. Those were some good days
