Statesboro Georgia

    On Saturday I will be traveling to Statesboro to visit my sister and her child; so naturally I'll need plenty of beer. I ,not bejing from Georgia, was hoping some of you fine folks could please help recommend me a couple local favorites to seek out while down there. Thanks in advance and cheers!

    Welcome to Beer Advocate, @Swervetrick3000. Here are some helpful tips:

    Places (in the upper nav bar) >> Georgia >> Statesboro. Whatever worthwhile beer-related options are available there will be on that page. (Same method works for just about any city anywhere.)

    Hit up the Search function in the broad South-Atlantic forum and type in Statesboro to see if any relevant threads pop up.

    Other folks will ask if you're flying in or driving. In either case, you can hit up recent threads about Atlanta (where you can read about beers to seek out as well as bottle shops) if you want to stop there before heading to Statesboro. Safe travels!

    If you are driving, I know the Kroger in Milledgeville has creature comforts and other Georgia beers. It is not far out of your way. Possibly the Statesboro Kroger, if there is one, may now carry CC.

    Eagle Creek Brewing Co is located in Downtown Statesboro. Beer is sold along with a tour of the facility. If you are interested in just getting a six pack of their beers, stop by Food World on Fair RD or Two Guys in the College Plaza. I would recommend the Grass Roots or Spot Tail.
