I'm writing a home brewing article, part of which touches on the concept of statistical significance. If there is a statistician, or say an engineer or scientist with a strong stats background, in the house who would be willing to read my first draft and provide a sanity check, please beermail me. In return, the reviewer would receive a public "Thank You" in the eventual printed version.
Thanks everyone. My inbox is practically choked with offers. I have someone on board now, and an enviable list of qualified folks willing to jump in if needed. This forum is truly filled with folks with some pretty impressive credentials and skillsets.
You invited science/beer geeks to apply their science geekery to their beer geekery and you got lots of volunteers? I didn't see that coming.
You will get better Statistical consultation from those using it in their jobs. This retired guy will stay on the sidelines.
