Staying in Albany NY

    I'm staying in downtown albany this weekend and I'm going to check out C.H. Evans for dinner because it's right by my hotel. I'm also planning on hitting one of the better reviewed beer stores to bring some beers home. Any suggestions on beers that I may not be able to get in the philly area?

    Check out Oliver's on Colvin Ave. About 5 miles west of downtown, right off Rt. 5

    Agree with the above post- Oliver's is a great store, a lot of interesting stuff there. They have a sister store, Westmere Beverage, that's pretty solid as well.

    I'm pretty sure Jack's Abby is distributed up there. Also, NEBCO but good luck with Gandhi, but Sea Hag and 668 might be available.

    Oliver's has Carton kegs too for growler fills.

    Great recommendation on olivers. The guy at the store was super helpful and nice. I'll be trying one the jacks abby Mass Rising ' s that i picked up tonight. They had a great set up and was organized well
