    Alright all,

So coming into town on Sunday the 6th and will have from about 1 till ?? to shop for bottles and bring things home. I checked out the Places page and only saw 4 places. Any gems that arent reviewed on here. Any body wanna do a bottle share?

I wont have access to a car so its all cab/walking for me.

    Any help/tips/advice.

    Cheers!
    James

I would recommend going to Plano and going to Holy Grail and Gingerman.

I don't think there's anything in Frisco within walking distance. I live in Frisco and usually just shop at Spec's or Whole Foods in Plano since I'm frequently in that area; that works fine unless I'm looking for something more rare and I missed it at Specs. In a pinch, you can try a Sprouts or Market Street.

If you're taking a cab, you can probably hit Mr G's (i.e. Specs), Central Market, Kegs & Barrels, and S&K in a short time. Lonestar is ~20 min away in Carrollton, but you can't go wrong with them either.

Most, if not all, of those should be on the Places page for DFW.

Oh disregard me. I read it wrong. Those are bars.

I'm nearby, and would be willing to make a trade while your in town. In Frisco: The Londoner for a bar, Market Street, Sierra Market for beer shopping. Holy Grail is the best beer bar that is almost in Frisco. If you want a good shop, get to Lonestar Beverages in Carrollton.

I could trade Saint Arnold Pumpkinator, and have some others as well, depending on what you can bring.

Spec's in Plano is probably your best bet.

Liquor stores won't be open on Sunday. Beer and wine can be found at grocery stores but can't sell before noon on Sundays
