@SenatorSpaceman took out mosaic so we can brew Method more often. Replaced it with Topaz.

I'm digging the reformed Boots. To clarify, I thoroughly enjoyed the original Boots, but the current version seems a bit more crisp and flavorful. I can't wait for the Techno Viking in a couple weeks.

@blackngold41 that's good to hear. I like this hop bill a little better myself and am definitely excited because I can brew mode Method now. Thanks for the feedback and support!

Brewed our first beer to hit a barrel last monday, wild ale collaboration with Ed of Lasting Brass, who is the man. This week debut of Techno Viking an American Pale Ale brewed with some new German hops, Hull Melon and Mandarina Bavaria and we will have a second batch of Coalesce DIPA brewed with Citra/Nelson as well as Behold on tap for fills starting Friday at noon.

You will like that combo a lot - what we use in DERP v.3, comes out spectacular (melon, orange, citrus). So far our favs for the new German experimentals... This is now the 4th or 5th different beer I have seen using those two varieties in the past two weeks, even cooler is that they are all different styles...

Thanks Pahn. Actually it's another new German hop in NE (it's single hopped). There are some very very nice hops coming out of Germany lately as they play catch-up to the fruity/melon/tropical/citrus hop craze...

ETA: Sorry for the mini jack John, cheers!

Oh awesome. Makes me all the more excited to try Techno Viking and DERPv3 if I can get a chance this weekend.

@shane_stubbornbeauty @Pahn no problem, yes a great combo. I have used them a few times when homebrewing and excited to do a larger batch. I'm also in love with Hallertau Blanc which may be my favorite of all.

Haha, that's the single hop in our Naughty Eskimo...it is FANTASTIC  did you source all yours through HHF? They seem to have a decent amount, where we ended up contracting all 3.

Hey Jo(h)n, any truth to a rumor that Nelson Sauvin is not being exported by New Zealand anymore? Or that its time is coming? Seems to be a very popular variety as of late.

@TheGitster I haven't heard anything like that to be honest and have contracts for it.

@shane_stubbornbeauty I have a contract for the 3 hops through Hop Union. Not alot though, only enough for a few small batches.

this german hop exchange has psyched me up so much i sent my mother on a beer run to get the 3 steady habit beers today (won't make it out of the city early enough to get it myself).

I just stopped by Steady Habit. Cool place and cool guys. I have a feeling in two years(or less) I will be complaining about how I used to be able to walk right in and get my growlers with very little wait. Their Coalesce is outstanding.

@Pahn ah man, I hope you like it. It's definitely a little different but I'm into it for its unique qualities. Cheers man I'll catch you next time!
