In and out in three minutes, no problem.

Well into my first bottle, and definitely liking this batch better than the first. I enjoyed the first, but thought it was a bit hot and rough around the edges out of the gate. This batch is drinking much smoother, and also seems a bit sweeter than the first. Really don't see where this one will need any cellaring.

    Enjoy, everyone!

That was really smooth and easy to get your bottles. What a great beer (when it warms up a bit)!

How dare you, sir! I'll have you know this is a reputable forum for those who enjoy advocating beer. If you care to indulge in that brand of bawdy humor, my understanding is that you might find 75% of the content on the remainder of the internet more to your liking. I demand satisfaction!

Hold on, just had another swig of Before the Dawn. All good now.

Ended up having to be fast so I'm sorry I didn't find you folks. Had a nice little chat with a local dude named Max who couldn't believe so many people were there.

I thought the barrel blended in very well. I recall 2012 being rather hot as BigDaddyPolite had mentioned.

I had a similar discussion with a dude who showed, up at the bar and ordered a Size 7. I was looking around, bewildered, until I explained to him what was happening. He tried a glass, ordered a bottle. Then another, then called a friend to show up who did the same. By the time they'd left, each had four bottles and a huge grin on their faces.

I went back and got there around 8. Had no issues getting my bottles and they had a descent amount on the shelf. I suspect after the initial rush that they trickled out and have plenty more.

Shared a bottle with my buddy last night and he is going today now. I will ask him to ask how much is left.

This is great stuff. I'm not big on paying $1/oz of it, but the lady and I split a pour. Very tasty.

This is what they're bringing to the Northern Lights Rare Beer Fest, but I have no idea of they plan to put it in bottles or not:

When they had 12 Lunker on tap a couple months ago, I was told by the server that they had it in the barrels again, but she had no idea how much longer it would be.

This would be a Lunker year, if I'm not mistaken, However, haven't heard much of anything, but BtD was supposed to be a Jan release last year and wasn't ready until march/april

All of their BA beers I've had have been incredible - BA Wee Heavy, BA Dissent, Lunker and Before the Dawn.

I just wish they'd bottle the first two at some point, and release the last two annually!

When I went in for Lunker a few months ago I asked about BtD and they said they hadn't even brewed it yet, so I doubt we'd see it at all this year if that's true.

Dang...last time I was there I was trying to count the number of barrels they had in the back...it was at least 20 if I remember right...so good stuff must be coming!

A few months ago one of the brewers told me a Lunker was in the barrels and it would be a few months... Couple weeks ago the server (Chelsea, I think) gave me a wink and said 'soon'. So Lunker ought to be any time...

Sorry , let me re-phrase. I was alluding to the fact that Lunker is probably "not ready" yet... Much like back in Dec '13 BtD was supposed to be ready Jan '14. but it wasn't released until March/April '14

I absolutely can't wait for another batch of Lunker. The last batch was a world-class beer.

Someone on twitter asked if the recent picture of beer going into barrels was before the dawn...their response was "We actually already have a batch of BTD in barrels. Pictured here was #WeeHeavy #yum Stay tuned!"
