Steel Toe BA beer

Haha, this is about the 3rd time I've seen my Twitter question referenced on BA. I find most breweries/stores are more than happy to answer questions, never hurts to ask!

 

At the Size 11 release a couple years ago (batch 2, IIRC), they had BA Dissent, BA Wee Heavy & Lunker on.
BA Wee Heavy was just fantastic.
BA Dissent was spectacular as well, and Lunker...well that goes without saying.
Had a flight of the 3, and immediately forgot about Size 11.

Definitely the best local taproom flight that I've ever had - hands down.

Does this hang around for months like Lunker or I need to be in line or do we have no clue?

Last time they had the release, it was a 3 bottle limit I believe, so with it being 4, Id guess there is enough to go around, for some reason people really don't like to get out to SLP

 

I don't think it will hang around like Lunker. Last release, it lasted for over a week or there abouts I believe.

Heard there were 5 whiskey barrels, factor in they will probably hold some back for kegs and stuff. We will probably see in the neighborhood of 750 to 1,000 bottles.

In summary, we have no clue.

 

Figured this was coming with the keg at Dark Horse yesterday. Can confirm it was damn good.

 

I have been hearing for months now that it was ready, but they didn't have time to move it and bottle it. Worst wait ever, thankfully the wait is almost over!

 

Last time it was there for more than a month... This time I bet it's gone day of the release. Just my opinion.

 

Last release 2 years ago I was still buying bottles in June or July.

 

This past November, second Friday I believe, they did a BA night. They had 2012 Lunker, 14' BTD, & 15' BA Dissent. That 14' BTD was far and away the best beer I've had from them, really outstanding. It aged very nicely, definitely going to get an extra bottle this time around.
