Steel Toe Size 11

I was there last Saturday.
They said they're running behind schedule.
Could be mid to late April, and there should be enough for a few weeks.
Planning on selling at the brewery, and distributing to their current retailers.

 

He is exactly right, when i visited for the lunker i received the same story but the brewer also said their biggest problem is tank space. I dont know if it room, capital or both for a solution of the problem.

Stopped by the tap room tonite and was told it is in the fermenter!

 

1st or 2nd week in May is what I was told.

 

hopefully it's not $8 a snifter at the taproom like their other limited beers have been.

 

Has anyone heard anything new on this? I'll be up this weekend and it would be awesome if I could stop in to grab a growler or two.

probably is still a week or so out, and there won't be growlers of it. I am guessing 750s at the brewery.

 

Muddy Waters had it on tap last year.

 

I'm speaking soley on the retail aspect, some bottles did trickle out to stores after a couple of weeks too.

 

Ah damn, well thanks for the responses. I guess I'll have to find a reason to go up in the next week or so.

Won't be fishing on opener, so might as well hit up the Size 11!

 

Got a little more info on this, but keep in mind that the vague dates are because this was after three Size 7's

They are doing a release party at Muddy Waters and that is either the 14th or 15th and then it will be on tap at the brewery the following day (either the 15th or 16th) and then a bottle release at the brewery on the 18th, with bottles to be reaching the local stores shortly afterwards. Sorry for forgetting the exact dates for the tappings, but I am sure that somebody else can firm up those dates on here well before then.

With the mishap with 7, we will have a delay with our release of 11. BUT!...it will make Craft Beer Week all that much better. Here's our role out:
May 15th: SIZE 11 release party at Muddy Waters at 6pm.
May 16th: SIZE 11 on sale in pints at STB Tap room.
May 17th: LUNKER, BARREL-AGED DISSENT and BARREL-AGED WEE HEAVY available in the STB tap room at 3pm.
May 18th: SIZE 11 750ml bottles on sale at STB tap room.
THEN....
May 22nd: Size 11 gets distributed.
