They are listing 11 as a triple IPA this year as well. My wife instantly compared it to Devil Dancer.

Wow! Do they have anything left? Rainmaker was gone when I was there at ~2:00. We're drinking this stuff faster than they can brew it. The BA wee heavy was particularly awesome.

I don't taste the Devil Dancer comparison. I get garlic and onions with DD and don't taste that here. They do make some good beers there in StLP.

Haven't had a chance to try this and I am sure this is fantastic but why all the hype for this and not much for their LUNKER which I would put up against anything. That was a dynamite offering but the buzz on that is subdued compare to this one....not sure why....Size 11 is probably just as good but not sure why LUNKER does not get more props.

Not the melon bomb or sweetness of last year, but Size 11 is the closest thing to a straight up west coast DIPA in Minnesota and can hang with anything brewed in California.

was still pretty busy sat @3pm had the sampler of ba dissent, Ba wee heavy, and lunker along with size 11.

i like that lunker doesn't get the props, more for the people that know the quality of the beer.

A bit off topic but does anyone know of anywhere besides Ale Jail that sells Steel Toe in Mac Groveland-Midway area?

Doesn't look like many options, I'm bummed ah well I don't mind Ale Jail but it'll likely show up when I can't make it there.

Anyone know how much of this is going to stores? I'm hoping it won't be hard to get since they were doing case limits at the brewery.

I do work from home so I can sometimes make it, but it seems with these releases I hit every red light... I prefer Heritage as it's mostly highway. Ah well, I'm broke anyways  and I just got some Pliny and SOSUS.

I could hook you up with one, if you can make it to **** Rapids over lunch hour this week.
Just what I paid for it would be fine with me.

    Edit: message me if interested

Picked up a bottle at the Firkins. $11, not sure how many they have, I would assume several cases.
