Will it hurt to sit on a few of these for a year?

I purchased one too many and have way too much other stuff that needs attention. Will it hurt if i sit on them for no longer then a year or should i be throwing them in as extras?

As you know, it's a Double IPA and not in the same vein as something like, oh, Dogfish Head 120 which can take some time easily. Very few DIPA's can go a year and still be impressive, given that they were impressive when they were fresh.

Having had a Steel Toe 11 recently, I'd say it isn't be something to hold on to for a year.

Yes, it will hurt this beer. IMO when I had this beer I didn't detect it having any ability to age into a nice barley wine. It was a great double/triple IPA that will be hurt with age.
If you can't get to them in the next couple of months trade them away.
