    Nope. Some places said it would hit in early June back in May. Hopefully it eventually makes its way here.

    Last year it hit near the end of August in my area so we may have a while! Most of the big FSW stores should get it (basically anybody who got Parabola, Velvet Merlin , ETC)

    All I hear from stores is that the distributor for FW in North Jersey(Nash?) is basically clueless when it comes to the arrival of the proprietor's vintage series. It just appears randomly.

    Nash is the king of delivering 3 month old beer. That being said the monkey did drop this week up in bergen. Happy hunting yall lol.

    Pretty crazy that I can order pretty much anything online overnight but commercial beer is unable to be shipped and released across the country with any semblance of order.

    especially in NJ for whatever reason.

    a beer that's readily available in sparsely populated locations in PA and NY state? expect it to reach densely populated NJ three months later. I don't know if it's NJ distributors who suck, breweries who just don't care, or a bit of both.

    if I ever find a beer that's less than a month old in a beer store around here I jump for joy.

    It's probably bad distribution. They get to pick and choose what they send out where and whenever they choose. Like lemmings we go after it. We need to start letting these breweries know that their stuff isn't getting to us, maybe they can start leaning on the distributors. At least we can hope.

    I believe Firestone tries to put one big trailer delivery together for its NJ distributors. The problem is is that people want the special release stuff like Parabala, Sucaba etc., and all the year round stuff lingers on the shelves.

    Shop at a better store with better turnover and a beer manager that cares.

    There are certain breweries that are better than others at getting their stuff here fresh (Maine is never more than a week old when delivered, Ballast Point is usually 1-2 weeks, Ithaca I've seen 3 days old, etc) but Firestone is actually getting better thankfully. I've seen 2-3 week old Union Jack recently.

    Anybody spot this yet? I talked to a FSW rep at a beer tasting in Seaside a few weeks ago and he said it should hit the rest of Jersey this week, but all the stores I have called so far this week still hadn't gotten it.
