Are the beers they offer at these pop-up events available at the brewery?

Is Stickman the first one taking advantage of the event licenses? I know Forest and Main used the farmers market one, but I can't recall anyone else doing what Stickman is doing.

Will be available at three locations, including the brewery

They are the only ones locally that I have noticed doing these type of can releases at locations that don't normally have a liquor license or sell beer.

Would love to try Breakfast for Dummies. Not a fan of Double Duece.

Yeah I'm definitely looking forward to both but would love a local spot to knock a breakfast stout out of the park.

So now it's been more than a month so drank another can of the Yoga Pants to see if the flavor changed. It did. The aroma is now more oak, a touch of vanilla as it warms. The flavor still has a sharp aftertaste, but I think it is now closer to the dryness of oak tannins than fruit sourness. Sort of like the finish on a very dry red wine.

Wow sounds delicious. 10% is a little high though. Still.

After drinking it on tap, finally cracked open one of the cans of Breakfast for Dummies. This beer is extremely well done - the best I've had from Stickman. All of the flavors are there - the aroma is wonderful as it warms up, and the taste is bold yet great balance between everything. thick silky mouthfeel.

So back last May when Stickman released 80's Laugh Track, I picked up a 4-pack of bottles. I thought it was a good but a bit boozy, so I put 2 of the bottles in the cellar for a bit of aging. Opened one up tonight. Less hot, and the aroma and flavor now leans more heavily in the dark fruits direction, rather than caramel and toffee. Black cherry, plum. Its definitely changed, so a worthy experiment.

    Any recent thoughts on beers?

I bought a 4 pack of the Stoopid Cupid Cherry IPA....total meh. I also bought a 4 pack of Plugging In. Is it me, or are the Stickman DIPAs really sweet. Plugging in and Double Duece both to me were really sweet. Double Duece more so in the can than fresh on tap.

I still love Store Bought is Fine, great IPA, (the latest batch is really good) and I really need to try Shameless Pandering.

I am making a point this weekend to try and get out there for the release as all three look interesting, especially Stack that Cake as like you mentioned above Breakfast for Dummies was one of my favorites.

I went there for the first time about a month ago for the Plugging In and Dropping Out release. I thought Dropping Out was excellent. I've been a huge fan of the Idaho 7 hop lately and that beer hit the spot. Plugging In was good but I agree it was sweet. I also picked up Can't Stop the March which was a decent hazy beer.

What have these releases been like? Can I just show up throughout the day?

There was no line when I went to my first release last month. I showed up around 3pm and they had a lot left and were stocking the fridge even more as I left.

Every time I've been there they have about 10 different beers available in the cooler. They keep stock, it's not just "releases".

I think the "To-Go" list fairly up to date. Scroll down on this link:

Oh yeah for sure I pop in like every other week or so as I work right near them, just haven't made it out to something on the weekend that might generate a little more interest and those haven't seemed to make it to the following Monday.

If anyone in the NE wants some I can help. I am at my mom's house in Collegeville this weekend until sometime on Monday. I live in Mayfair.

I like Stickman's sense of humor on the Meh IPA and First World Problems labels. Trolling the line-waiting crowd, and the complainers.
