I love an Irish Car Bomb. That's about the only time I drink it, though.

Back-to-back car bombs are a great way to get from sober to "damn right".

I'm not going to turn it down if that's what is available, but there's too much other stuff out there that I like.

I'd drink a Guinness anytime. Foreign Extra is always infected and I'm not into butter stouts.

It's perfect for the style, but it's been forever, I prefer BA Stouts.

I really liked the Extra Stout when I had a bottle from a mixed six-pack back around St. Patrick's Day (the Draught's not bad either, though not as tasty as the Extra Stout; I wouldn't turn either of them down if offered, though.)

Never have seen the Foreign Extra Stout around, unfortunately. Would like to try it sometime.

I enjoyed it on tap in Ireland, but even then I drank more Irish Coffees than pints of Guinness. I rarely have any form of Guinness anymore. Don't hate it, but it's just not on the radar.

Occasionally, but the real gem was like some others have said, drinking it in Ireland, especially at the Guinness Storehouse itself in Dublin.

Had one yesterday for the first time in a long time! There were no other options available so I figured what the heck. Needless to say, it doesn't really compare to the best of the stouts out there, but it was like visiting with an old friend you haven't seen in years. Things have changed, but you both still have a comfort level with each other. :-)

Every now and then at a bar that doesn't have a good craft selection I'll go with a Guinness

I still like it and have one occasionally. Not since my brother's birthday last March though. I have had a Murphy's (which I prefer) in the meantime.

The Foreign Extra kills- I love that stuff, and would even go out of my way to get some. The yeast signature goes perfectly with the residual malt at that gravity.

The Extra is fine, and I will drink it on occasion, but I really have to be in the mood.

I haven't had the draught in a while, but that's just because I don't see it as a good value. But buy me a 4-pack and I'm sure I'll get some enjoyment out of it. It starts out pretty mild, but by the third can the flavor does build sufficiently. You really do have to do a bunch of those in a row, I have found.

I don't turn it down. It's actually my go to beer (draught cans) when I am calorie counting. It actually has a taste vs the bmc lite options.

I think Guinness is a bit like Hostess Cupcakes for me. Sure, there are much better cupcakes out there, with better ingredients and craft put into them. But, damn, there's something about that signature flavor. You could probably also make the same case for fast food burgers. I like a gourmet burger or a good homemade burger best, but there's something about that consistent signature taste that makes that Whopper or Quarter Pounder with Cheese enjoyable. Maybe it's just nostalgia. Or MSG. But, to answer the PO's question, like fast food and Hostess Cupcakes, I rarely go in for a Guinness anymore.
