Just letting you guys know like I do every year. My local bottle shop still has KBS on the shelf if someone's looking. They're located in Gaylord. I would call first to make sure it's still there. If anyone besides Tony or Amanda answers then I would tell them what it is and that it's located the bottom shelf withe the Founders stuff. It was a little more money this year I don't know if the price went up everywhere or what? $22 http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/27143/?view=ratings
thats a great little store, i always stop in there when im in the area. i treat those little stores like i do my secret fishing spots though.
That's a great price; I paid $28 for mine. I can vouch that it's smart to call ahead because I followed a different @GoldenChild lead 5-6 years ago and arrived 20 minutes after the last 4-pack had left the building.
Well done OP. A refreshing breath of air to the usual douche nozzles who post that their place has XYZ beer but won't divulge as if it is some national security secret.
I have been continually seeing it in the Yoop (Escanaba) at Sav Mor and Elmer's, way more than in previous years. Still on the shelf at Sav Mor after work today.
Founders was selling it out of the gift shop last week when I drove through. Limit of 3 4-packs for $20 each.
Does this place have a respectable selection all the time? We travel to our cabin in Waters every summer and have given up on Schnapps & Hops as their selection is not impressive at all. Family Fare generally has a better selection than they do. I'll have to check out this place.
We snowmobile in that area a couple times a year and always stop in here. Nice store, always a large selection, and friendly staff.
For what I consider to be an out-of-the-way, middle-of-nowhere place, I was impressed the couple times that I've been there. I suspect there must be a lot of houses, vacation cabins/cottages, etc. around that area for its customer base, but it's just difficult to see many of them.
