Picked up a bottle but no samples a available on-site. Pours of a nice funky, satsumized farmhouse ale in the offing though. Strummke's there manning the turntables, even.
Opened up one yesterday after getting back from the release. Really nice funk and great wine barrel character. you can smell the blueberries a bit but not a lot. Best BA offering from Oxbow that I've had the opportunity of trying. 500ml bottles with a count around 1100.
Until it sells out. Most people at the release day were buying 2-4 bottles. There were a few people like me who were buying 12 or more, but there was no limit. Just email them and ask.
They were still selling these on Saturday during the Symphony release but I understand they'll kick soon. IMO this is the best beer released in Maine in 2013 although some argue that 3 Barrels Deep was a bit better. Both rock so really splitting hairs here... Great day in Newcastle on Saturday and another terrific release party as always!
I got mine from an IP trade from a friend while I was in Michigan last month and I enjoyed it tonight. Really was a fantastic beer.
