I have to add that 'farmhouse' isn't one of my favorite styles, but the Stillwater brews I've had have all been very good or better. I'm impressed, & if it weren't for the price point, I'd pick up more of them.

His stuff is excellent, especially the Existent both in and out of bourbon barrels. However Of Love & Regret was a bottling disappointment. Smelled nice, tasted fine, but at least four out of 10 330mL bottles gushed upon opening.

I will not rest until we get to the bottom of this.

Existant is one of my favorites. Really earthy and unique. I'd buy it every time I went to the store, if it were available.

The price point didn't bother me too much. Usually I've seen bottles for around $15. It's a step up, IMO, so I'm willing to pay the extra couple bucks.

I think Stillwater makes excellent beer, but (as Johnmichaelsen said above) I usually only try them when they're on tap. The bottles are a little pricey to me for regular purchases. I'm sure that there are additional costs involved as a gypsy brewer.

(Also, Cellar Door Saison kicks ass)

A few different bottles just popped up here in Iowa (at least in Iowa City). I agree with the sentiment of good beers but a little too expensive for me to justify buying. I really liked the Table Beer though. 4.7% ABV Belgian Pale Ale with a touch of Brett funk. Wonderfully done and what I'd expect Petite Orval to be like.

Of Love and Regret was pretty interesting, and Cellar Door is really solid. I need to try the black saison they made.

I've had a few of their Saisons and they were quite good.
