I hope it is better than the last couple of ones, I could barely drink last years. Big Stone fan, hope this one is really good as aside from Xocoveza barely drink Stone beer anymore.

Going to be great if they do it right. Nelson and Galaxy are incredible hop varieties.

as a journalism student, seeing that listed as a source is just embarrassing. Most wouldnt even submit the article for editing with that listed

a nelson and/or galaxy big hoppy DIPA does sound good though (if that is the hops they choose), very much looking forward to this.

I hope it has finesse--was hard to beat the 17th Anniversary--Godderdammerung. That one was just incredible. Some folks were disappointed but it was my favorite of this series by far.

I've been on a huge stone kick recently. Drank Enjoy By 4/4/15 tonight and had Imperial Nut Brown, Points Unknown, and the new Ruination last weekend with a bottle of 2013 Southern Charred in the fridge.

Im really excited to try this.

"Australian IPA" actually means double dry-hopped Fosters

Looking forward to trying it. Their anniversary beers are usually pretty solid. Stone is one of my favorite breweries ever. I just hope this beer indeed gets distributed in this area. The Points Unknown IPA and the latest Stochasticity Project beer from them didn't seem to make their way to the Cleveland area. I looked at a lot of places for them and have yet to come across either of those. This is very odd because every other Stone beer that is distributed nationally I can always find plenty of in my area. If anyone knows of any stores and or bars in the greater Cleveland area that still has either of those 2 beers on the shelf, in he cooler, or on-tap please let me know ASAP. I have the new Imperial Nut Brown Ale still sitting in my basement fridge. I had the new version of their Pale Ale and the latest Enjoy By recently and liked both quite a bit. I also tried the new Ruination recently and was not much of a fan of that one. It is not a bad beer, just not Ruination is supposed to be. Probably the first time I ever felt underwhelmed by one of Stone's beers.

That link is about as valuable as saying firestone's next anniversary beer is going to be something barrel aged.
