Haven't read anything about the latest bourbon barrel Quingenti in the BA releases section, here or on the Stone website - just a brief mention in ISO:FT. Anyone have info on this?

I want to go to there. Awesome that they're releasing this! No chance I'll get my hands on some, though.

They still had about 2 cases left in the fridge in Escondido when I got one, not sure how much they have in the back after that.

As much as I wanted to try this, I bought a 2L growler fill of 2012 IRS instead.

There's plenty of people that bought a bottle to trade and not drink apparently. Shouldnt have a problem landing a bottle if you pull out your cellared whales.

I'm in town for the week and free now, think there is still some left? If so I will hop in the car now.

Mmm that sounds like a beer worth trading for.

agreed, this was the right was to release it. dropped by the brewery yesterday with some friends & they had a great time drinking the draft & snacking on apps. no crazy crowds, parking, or long lines. though i do have to go back in a few weeks when i'm off antibiotics & can share in on the tasty brew lol

has anyone actually cracked open a bottle of this yet? Not seeing any reviews, and I haven't been a fan of the other BA versions so I am leery.

Blasphemous! One doesn't buy bottles of beer to drink, they're only good for trading for walez. WALEZ!!!!

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I returned my bottles today. Last night a bottle was opened to the disheartened aroma and taste of an infection. Upon returning my bottles, I was notified that there were several extreme "low fill" bottles released as well. I was implausibly excited about this beer, as the past versions of BA IRS I've had on draft have been spectacular.
On the positive side, Stone's customer service is absolutely top notch. They fully refunded my money, and will gladly replace any low fill bottles. Cheers to Stone for continued impeccable customer service!
All skeptics feel free to call Stone....or actually open a bottle and try yourself. I hope this was an isolated incident, but at $20 a pop, that's not a risk I was willing to take.
