Stone 2010 BA IRS released?

    Very happy to see Stone owning up to their mistake and not only servicing their customers, but putting in measures to make sure it doesn't happen again. They continue to earn my respect even when they mess up.

    agree with this & guys commenting of Stone knowingly putting out a spoiled beer is nonscence.

    I think people are just curious how so many bottles which immediately showed signs of infection could go out without someone from Stone noticing.

    i think the explanation is as simple as someone f-cked up. big time. i have never had a beer from stone with a noticeable technical flaw. ever. almost 16 years they went and then this happens with perhaps the best beer they've ever made. it's not like they pre-announced the release and didn't want to back track and not release the bottles. someone just did not do their job. period.

    if you want to get something done right, you often need to do it yourself. oversight of this release may very well have been delegated with disastrous results.

    Most of their infections go under the radar due to how fast they are drank and the low level of said infection.
