Guys...anyone living anywhere near a Costco should probably take a look to see if this is in their area. This is a Costco in Las Vegas, and the packs are dated as best by 5/19, so it looks like this is an end of life sort of sale. Hope this helps someone score a great deal.

.97 in costco talk means disco. ST% was probably bad and they want to clear it out.

Retail terms. Costco uses .97 in pricing to designate an item that is being discontinued. ST% means "sell thru percentage" or how much merchandise was sold compared to how much they brought in to sell. I highly doubt they get any kind of credit back from vendors for alcohol, so they're probably selling close to cost or even below just to get rid of it before the Sell By date. Some $ is better than no $.

I hate to be a downer but that works out to seven 12oz beers. Most Stone six-packs retail at about ten bucks. If memory serves the only beer in there that doesn't go in 6-packs is the RIS.

Costco is great for 24-packs of 12oz-ers and some import 750ml but their 22oz prices are still not volume deals.

that may be true, in terms of 12oz packing, but these are 22oz bottles, so think in 22oz terms, how much are these 4 bottles sold seperate... a deal is a deal when you compare apples to apples, and not apples to oranges.

I hate to be a downer, but RIS goes for about $8/bottle where I live.

So you pay full price for that, and get:

-a 65 cent bomber of Stone IPA (a fraction of retail cost).
-a 65 cent bomber of Arrogant Bastard (less than 20% of retail cost)
    AND
-a 65 cent bomber of Sublimely Self Righteous (I won't even bother here)

But no, you're right. This really isn't a great deal at all. What a bummer.

Hahaha sublimely self righteous. But your point is well take. It's basically three beers for the price of one sounds awesome in my mind.

mine only had them for 14.99 but total wine has the 4 pack instead of ssr it's grapefruit slam for 16.99. currently 2$ coupon goin on so14.99 is a good deal irs 6.99 and grapefruit slam sells for 6.99 also aba is 3.99 and yes the ipa is the bummer oh well love all those beers anyway and 22oz of ipa is nicer than opening two 12pz bottles

LOL im sure majority of people on here have paid more than 10$ for a 12oz bottle. 10$ for 4 22oz bottles is a hell of a deal.

I was just stating that the liquid in the bottles regardless of packaging was "apples to apples". Yes, the 22oz bottle is different to a 12oz and as stated that is the apple and orange argument. The problem with that line of thinking is you drink the liquid in the bottle because that is the product you are paying for...the bottle you throw away...it's trash. I was basically disagreeing with your "apples to apples, apples to oranges" argument...I was trying to prove a point in a nice way
