Ya I agree with alot of u, it's good but for $18 a six pack I'm looking for a world class 9%-12% abv 5 star beer. This is good, but it's not xocoveza or v@s or Bells 30th. I can get 8 cans of 4 beans for like $2 more... Plus I'm still taking it personal that we didn't get unfiltered at all after getting every other enjoy by. Stone ris Used to be in 12oz

Fair enough. The vanilla pops stronger to me but I'm a coffee freak so maybe my tastes are a bit skewed. It's still a coffee-vanilla beer that's 20% stronger and has nowhere near the hop level of this Stone Americano. Apples and oranges.

Local place was selling this for $17...each bottle. The only place I found that had it in stock right now. I believe that somehow they made a mistake with their inventory.

Actually 22 oz / 650ml bombers weigh about 2.2 lbs ( I know this because I weigh beers before I ship them). That is ~22 ounces of beer and 13 ounces of bottle and cap.

IRS in 12oz bottles was a one time thing in relatively small quantities many years ago. So no, not really.

Thought the beer was good and really well executed. I did find the straightforwd coffee flavor a little one-dimensional- but overall I really enjoyed it and had no problem with the price. Maybe we've all been too spoiled with Stone's low prices in the past? Not sure why many are complaining about the price. Maybe a little higher then I would have expected but obviously not enough to sway everyone away from it .

Had one last night and found it awesome, the coffee and espresso is very up front. Its thin but very drinkable and even as it warmed to near room temp it went down easy!
