Nope, but personally I don't see the point. The market in Los Angeles is already saturated with their products. Why not open up a brewery to reach a different market?

Probably because the restaurant in Escondido is a cash cow for them, opening one in LA will likely have similar success.
Also, a good restaurant will build brand awareness for casual beer drinkers who may have never even had a Stone beer, but went to the cool restaurant downtown.

Pretty hard to find a "casual drinker" in Los Angeles who hasn't seen a Stone offering on tap many times prior...

I don't think you know what over/under means.

    I place the over/under at-
    -2.5 months

I think he was asking where the bookie's were gonna place the betting line at.

yeah, my statement wasn't clear, but tjensen knows what I meant.

or I guess I could have asked for the odds of the LA one to get built before the Liberty Station one.

Overall, I am getting impatient with how long it is taking to get the Liberty Station one built. I am sure Stone is getting frustrated too, as I know they originally were hoping for Spring of 2012... then summer... then winter...now?

They just broke ground and had some ceremony last week. They're aiming at Spring I think.

Yes, it's called the Stone Company Store, and is in Pasadena (I have no freaking idea why), and they did an open house last week to kick off LA Beer Week:

I didn't go as it was sold out, but I'm guessing I'll check it out once it officially opens.

Only good thing about it being in Pasadena, is it is just 1 block from the Gold Line, so easy public transport always means safe trips home!

No... read the article. The company stores are different from the actual brewpubs. This is something different.

I stand corrected. You are absolutely right. Totally different from the Stone Company Store in Pasadena.

This one, according to the article, will likely be in DTLA.

As far as Stone goes, I've always been kind of "meh" but if it's in my neighborhood, I'm sure I'll check it out!
