I'm heading to Kingston this weekend and thought about passing by Stone City Ales. Anyone here tried them yet? Comments? Any recommendations?
Glad you posted this. I had not heard of this brewery until recently when Layla started blowing up on some of the trading forums. What's up with this place? Cheers.
They have some really good stuff. My sister works there now so I have been getting most of the releases. Their Uncharted is really good. They have their basic offerings which are solid, straight to style beers. Then they have been releasing stuff like an "American Lager" basically a lager hopped to high heaven with Cascade. Watchtower IIPA. They also had a hoppy sour, big bourbon barrelled Imp Stout. Then Layla was this past weekend. I would recommend a stop, nothing is bad, food is quite good there as well.
