    Hello all,
I'm totally new to aging, and I'm building my cellar right now. One of my first purchases is a 22 of SDB and I'm just wondering how long I should age it. I have patience but I'd like to try it within 5 years. Please advise.

People tend to think it does well after 1 or 2 years of age on it.

Have you tasted this beer already?

Yes. I enjoy it fresh often, but being that it's so aggressive, I wonder what flavors are hiding under the hoppy bitterness and alcohol burn. If people have had experiences with it mellowing out after a year then that's probably how long I'll wait.

I love it at four years, but that's just me. The heat is gone which I miss, but there's a wonderful malt profile hidden behind the hop bomb it is when fresh.
