Not the same as it was a month ago though, you can taste this one aging.

I've gotta hand it to Stone, brilliant marketing. Every batch of beer they produce gets its own "new release" thread.

It is brilliant marketing, and they're making a very unique tasting and terrific IPA. If it stunk it would be a massive fail.

Had one last night. Lucky it's being distributed around SoCal and I didn't have to drive all the way up to Pasadena this time.

Think I like it a bit more then last batch. Though I won't be getting as many since there are low bottle limits in my area.

I'm spoiled with the case limit @ stone. This batch is probably the best batch since 7.4.13

9/13 was wayyyy better than this batch. So, for those of you who aren't getting it, don't be so bummed. Still a solid IPA(I had 2 8 oz pours at Stone) though!

Is it the same recipe every time, and it just comes out slightly different, or do they alter it each time?

ok soooo the first post here says that LA is included in the release, but the "locate enjoy by" site shows nowhere on that map that it will be going in Louisiana. can anyone give me more information on the distribution or when it is expected by? i'd hate to miss this (if i haven't already)

At this point, the Enjoy By 9-13-13 is 2 weeks past it's date....and is still absolutely fine with little to no change in taste then if you would've drank it on 9/13. Price is a GREAT price for a 22oz craft IPA. If it's still there in another month, then they should lower the price. I had enjoy by 12-21-12 on Super Bowl Sunday 2013 (2-3-13) and it was still just as good.

    Here in NY I've paid $7.29 - $7.99 for the 22oz.

Can't believe they are selling this beer for $5.99 - no limit at Total Wine. Crap on Stone if you wish, but their marketing, which is backed up by consistent quality, is good for all craft brewers.
