I was just about to ask if MD will ever see another Enjoy By release. I know MD sucks, but c'mon Stone...have some compassion for those of us who live here!

Had it on tap at the Stone Company Store in Pasadena on Monday. It seemed to me the onion flavor others have commented on in the last two batches is gone or at least muted in this batch. I have bombers of 10.25.13 and 11.12.13 in the fridge downstairs and am looking forward to doing a side-by-side to (hopefully) confirm this.

Grape and Gourmet in Virginia Beach is getting theirs tomorrow. First Double Dose and Now Enjoy By. Ugh, a symphony of tragedy and shame. And really amazing hoppy beer.

I did this last night and found 11.12.13 to be less oniony, for sure: my favorite batch since 5.17.

When people say there's no difference between batches because they use the same recipe, they're not thinking about the countless variables in every batch. I have a favorite cake I bake over and over using the same ingredients, and it definitely tastes slightly different each time.

The cool thing about Enjoy By, unlike most beers, is that there's a quickly turned around iteration of batches that can be objectively compared to each other. (Unlike "this year's Hopslam vs. last," etc.)

I hope it's better than the last release.. which tasted like I was running mouth-first through an onion patch.

According to the new list (source?), every New England state except Rhode Island will get the next shipment. Curious that only three states west of the Mississippi is getting any.

Is past sales volume why Stone is sending it to 19 states instead of the usual 5 like they did for Oct.? I'm guessing they dropped their voting system again. Wonder what the criterion is now, just sales volume from recent past shipments, or some new rotational process known only to Stone? I checked their website and their Facebook page and saw nothing about Enjoy By releases at all.
