Stone Enjoy By Black IPA

    Guys,

    I've been a member for two years but never posted anything. I am not new to beer, I have about 400 distinct beers in my untappd.... Anyway, I live in Baltimore, MD and a few days ago I went to a place I've always wanted to try called Le Garage

    My favorite beer style is the black IPA, and to date my favority line of beers has been Stone Enjoy By... I saw that they now put out a black IPA and I was ecstatic, I had a whole bunch of them. It was wonderful.

    Well if we're posting opinions for fun:

    I had the first release, I wasn't a fan of that one. For some reason it smelled like bologna. The taste was ok but it felt like a mishmash of flavors that didn't jive.

    I'll be waiting on normal Enjoy By, that one is one of my personal favorites.

    In the future, you may want to end a post like this by asking other people their thoughts or opinions on this variation of Enkoy By. Otherwise, it'll be snark city.

    I am looking forward to trying this when I get the chance.

    Not really into black IPAs should grab one of these while I can and try it.
    The idea just doesn't appeal me.

    I agree. This one is totally worth a try. The nose is amazing, and the taste just slightly less so.

    I was a little underwhelmed. I like IBA beers and the Enjoy By beers, although not my favorite, I did think this would work out to the best IBA I've had. It wasn't. Still good though.
