I bought into a few of the collabs....like a year ago? Have no idea when I get my beer though.

Stone has opened the Library Bar portion of the Berlin site and is looking at September for a proper grand opening. Hopefully the collaboration brews follow shortly!

    I purchased two of them.

    Stone/AleSmith and Stone/Maui. I haven't heard a peep about either of those.

The Maui brew date is actually next week and AleSmith is scheduled for September. Updates are available here: http://bit.ly/StoneIGGUpdates and should come to your inbox as well. The other dates will come out as they are confirmed.

If you aren't receiving email updates (and want to) contact us at [email protected] and we will get you on the list!

    Cheers,

So I got an email today saying that one of my bottles is ready (stone/Maui collab) I have one year to pick it up. I also have a magical woot stout coming, I emailed to see if the woot will be done within the next year, it's a 12 hour drive and I'm hoping to grab both bottles at the same time.

I don't know about anyone else but saw magnums of the maui/stone collab today at one of my local shops. They got it distro'd to them. Nice to know that I could have just waited for distro instead of preordering. I thought these would not be sold as magnums anywhere except for the pre-order or if your local shop preordered cases. Definitely feel jipped, especially when I ordered as many magnums as I did.

If they truly got magnums through distribution that would be different than what was told to those who pre-ordered. @StoneBrewingCo?

They allowed shops to order the magnums. There was no limit during the campaign. This was all posted in the FAQs during the initial campaign. Can't imagine what the price was on those magnums haha

That's correct, shops could pre-order as many as they wanted but I think OP is saying his shop got them through standard distribution not pre-order.

When we kicked this off a few years ago, distributors and individual retailers were able to pre-order along with any individuals through the same process. Any distributor that purchased them can distribute them to whichever stores they'd like within their jurisdiction for resale. But of course these bottles will be marked up every step of the way, meaning that anyone who pre-ordered directly from Stone a few years ago got their bottles at a lower price. (And the assurance of knowing they have their bottles ready and waiting for them, rather than crossing fingers and hoping their local bottle shop received a handful.) So this shop did not get them via 'normal' distribution, rather their distributor pre-ordered and sent the bottles through their normal channel. Thanks for the clarification.

Is that price ridiculous? I dont remember what the campaign was charging as a donation for a bottle.

I wanna say $30. So the distributors and retailers are making a pretty penny off of these.

Saw 2 of these at a local Wegmans. $43.00 each. I passed but am intrigued as the beer sounds mighty tasty.

$36 for a magnum? If so, that's only $6 more than the pre-order price was more than two years ago unless there were case discounts.
