I have yet to find a bottle in San Antonio, and I have been looking.

Any luck in any other city in Texas?

I would love to get my hands on at least one bottle.

Dayman just got to town last week, so two weeks may be a pretty accurate description, if it does end up showing its beautiful face.

After picking up a bottle I couldn't help but notice the Bottled on Date of 3/01/13. Why did it take 2 months from the bottled on date to get distributed to TX? Curious who dropped the ball.

Stone is always like that in TX. Some people blame the distribution, some people blame the TABC and label approvals. But if other breweries like Southern Tier can get their IPAs here in a week after bottling then Stone can do the same. I feel its partially laziness on their part, but they usually blame the label approval process.

Well BEK has no warehouse in SA which could be a factor, but for Stone, it seems to be old around most of the state. I was a little surprised it was 2 months old considering Stone's "battle with freshness" recently. They do an amazing job getting Enjoy By into the market fresh, but I don't see the same will to get the other products in fresh. It's odd and inconsistent. I wish they would put in the same effort as Enjoy By to get the other time sensitive releases into market sooner.

There was a delay in the label approval process. TABC rejected Stone's first submission because the ABV was off a little.

They consider it fresh 90 after the bottle date, so it's not terrible. I consider myself lucky that we got this at all. Stores in Cali were limiting people to 1 bottle.:grimacing:
