I would love to see Stone do a blend along the lines of what Firestone Walker does for its Anniversary beers. Give me a shot at mixing Stone IRS, Double Bastard and Old Guardian then putting it in Bourbon Barrels for about 6-8 months. All right my mouth is now watering.

I highly doubt it is IRS, but I'd love to be wrong on this one.

I hope so bad it's a collaboration with Bud Weiser.

Since there is already a Bourbon AB, I'm guess its Bourbon Double Bastard.

Call me crazy, but it's already confirmed and done? Or am I just floating around inside a wish list thread?

Ya, it's obviously Barrel Aged Arrogant Bastard in six packs. Don't know why the continued speculation.
I'm happy for it as I passed on the bomber release.

Being a huge arrogant bastard fan, I spoke with my local Stone rep when the bastard box came out asking if they got rid of oaked aged arrogant bastard since I haven't seen it in awhile. He said it was currently retired but they have a surprise coming out early 2015 that'd I'd enjoy, so I'm leaning towards its arrogant bastard.

Just cracked my bomber of BBA Arrogant Bastard last night and it was awesome. I will look forward to this very much if it does turn out to be BBA AB in sixers.

You could consider me a Stone fan-boy, yet I was disappointed by the BBA AB- not that it WASN'T good. I really like AB, and LOVE Double Bastard, so I was probably hyping myself a bit much over the BBA version.

Hopefully, these 12 ouncers will be at least slightly different than the Bastard Box version.

I agree, it was definitely a great beer just not a great barrel aged beer. I believe Arrogant Bastard deserves a higher priority when it comes to where in the barrel queue it is. Hopefully it gets the respect it deserves this time around and we can see how it does in first or second fill barrels. That was really sad seeing Stone put Arrogant Bastard put in those old spent barrels.

I heard that a small amount of Xocoveza may have made it into bourbon barrels, so get your hopes up! I can't wait to be ISO that!!!

I'd assume that if that's true, it's something that will be released in the QM series, and possibly only available at Stone locations (à la Mikhail's Odd).
