I've seen some good variety packs from great breweries, but I'm thinking Stone did great here and this takes the top. Thoughts?
I'm not much of a fan of Stone mixed 12's to be honest. There's never been a beer that's exclusive to the 12 pack, they have always been very hoppy beers to my knowledge (not always a bad thing, but doesnt make for much variety), and they are priced well above the mixed 12 packs that I do buy a lot of, Sierra Nevada, New Belgium & Sam Adams.
A mixed 24 like Firestone and Sierra Nevada have would be great if it was available at Costco. IPA/Delicious, BBAB, Enjoy By and Ruination please.
I would love to see a SN variety with PA, Torpedo, Stout, and Porter. At least the first 2 with their stout or porter and something else. Their Snowpack is the closest thing, which actually looks decent. The thing with Stone is they have 3 IPA's and AB. IMO, you can't beat that. Checked a bunch of the varieties at the distributor before I bought Stone's mixed. Some companies just throw stuff together it seems like.
Just saw a new Stone mixed 12-pack at my grocery store: Pale Ale 2.0 Go To IPA Saison Arrogant Bastard
