Stone Mocha IPA

Like the beer. It didn't wow me and the price is a bit rough. Definitely a must try if it's on draft. I'd not recommend a full six pack commitment before trying. I feel like a few changes could have really made for a better beer.

 

Tried my first bottle today. The velvety chocolate flavor seems more prominent than when I had this on draft. I do wish it was more aggressively coffee-/hop-forward, as it was on draft, and also like Depth-Charged Double Bastard, but it's still a damn fine beer.

 

Picked up a single the other day and absolutely loved it! Can't explain it but something about it is so....luscious? Going back to grab a couple more singles today

I bought a sixer of it and love it. Great beer, hope I can get it through the summer.

 

I love coffee, love IPAs, love Stone, and am pissed Dayman never hit Pittsburgh during it's run. I'll be giving this a try. I saw Rogue's concoction, but I'm not spending money on their beer.

 

I tried a bottle of this yesterday. The aroma got me pretty excited and the taste delivered in a surprisingly good way. I would have it again.

 

Man this was a unique beer. Really enjoyed it.

 

Looks like I'm in the minority. Really liked Dayman, but this was just way out of balance for me.

 

I haven't seen it yet but I look forward to trying it.

 

i did but the places nearby that were listed were out of stock...

found some a bit further afoot though and loving it...going to pick up another pack or 2 for sure.

 

Just picked up a fresh sixer of this yesterday. Tastes fantastic. I'm detecting a touch more cocoa than I previously recall, but it's still by far my favorite coffee IPA -- and a truly unique DIPA. So glad to see it back on the shelves.

 

Have to get some today, heading to store soon and this just was added to my list LOL.

 

Just grabbed a 6 pack and no bottled on date, like every other Stone beer. Do you have a bottled on date on the neck of yours? Honestly thinking they tricked me into buying last years......

 

Love this stuff. Can't wait to grab some.
