It was not bad. I've only had a few brown ales that I liked. I probably would not buy it again, though.

It was good, but not a repeat buy for me.

Found this on tap last night. Glad I tried it, it was tasty.

I'm sure I'm in the minority on this but I generally associate browns with easy drinking. It was interesting to have one that asked me to slow down [9% abv] on my way through it.

I agree. This beer isn't barrel aged, but I think a good way to describe it would be as a BA imperial brown, if you will. It's big, complex and delicious. I've had it on tap twice in the past couple of weeks and it was the best beer of the night for me both times.

I'd probably grab one at $9.99 if it wasn't sitting next to RIS 2015 for the same price.

Bought one in Lee, MA for $10.99 yesterday while on a family trip to the Berkshires. Also saw it for $10.99 in Billerica this morning. Cannot wait to try it because my first love is browns. On a side note - Main Street Lee has a great store called Trader Moe's - and the sister establishment is a bar in the back called Moe's Tavern (my 8 year old son wanted to go in for a flaming homer). Very good selection at Traders for the location and an excellent selection on tap at the tavern. If you are in the eastern part of the berkshires and want a good beer head to Main Street Lee - this is a nice find.

Damn I can't beleive we're seeing the lowest prices on this here in the affluent suburbs of Washington DC, that never happens.

I enjoyed this beer. It was not excellent, but it was very good. Did not remind me of dirt, but it was a bit malt heavy IMHO.

Finally decided to grab one (beating of the tale-tale heart), still plenty left for a revisit! I really enjoy the nose and it is concurrent with taste, the finish is dry and the mouth is thinner than what I was expecting. Not bad though, drinking as it gets warmer.

Picked one up for either $7.99 or $8.99 here(can't remember which for sure). Browns were my first love in craft beer so I'm excited to try this one out.

    I passed on it.
Stones seasonal/limited bomber prices have gotten a bit out of hand.

Really liked this one a lot. It's dangerous with how drinkable it is.

What do you usually pay for bombers? Keep in mind I'm in San Diego, but you can pick up IRS, OG, Mutt for $7-$8 which I think is super fair.
