Wow I sure wish I was down in SD for this. I would fill a case with the vintage Double Bastard, Old Guardian, and Imperial Russian Stout then another case with Bastard in the Rye, Southern Charred and Fyodor's Classic.

Probably not many of the RIS, OG, SC, DB and Fyodor's bottles available.

    Edit: Gratuitous abbreviations.

That '15 Fyodor's Classic which was bottled 1 year ago is tasting great right now, I drank one last week.

Could not agree more. Had one in January that ended being the best beer of the 200+ I've rated on BA.

We are enjoying the discussion this has created, and even some of the friendlier banter. In the meantime, looks like many of you have already noticed our many updates to this sale including deeper discounts, the confirmed ability to taste beers before you buy, and the addition of a slew of single archive bottles which will now be available for purchase. We are even going to set up some overstock and "Less Than Perfect" merchandise which will be priced accordingly. See the new and improved details here: http://bit.ly/StoneWarehouseSale

See, now that's the best way of going about it. The slew of single bottles updated are much better of a selling point than how this clearance sale started out. Much like the kickstarter for Berlin, it's good to see Stone take that feedback/early hesitance and turn it around by digging into the cellar a bit.

It's still on a rough day, given how many beer events and festivities are going on in San Diego that are digging into the same pool you guys want to get the attention of. But then again, with the beer scene as it is these days, it's hard not to make an event overlap another in SD.

    Best of luck.
