In nj, the year round six packs went down and the special release bombers went up around the beginning of the year. Definitely makes them more consistently priced with similar beers on both counts.

Yes, but a dollar or two. I think it might have something to do with California's severe droughts. I even heard about it on NPR.

Publicly owned, privately owned, the owners (shareholders) best be making a profit. Business can be a bitch.

Also, Stone is not the only beer I'm paying more for. I live in the state of ill and annoyed, most things cost more here.

yes on the latter statement, but not so sure on the former. If a company aims for a certain fixed profit margin, and all your COGS (cost of goods sold) go up, then eventually you see wholesale, and then retail price increases.

And true, even most private breweries have shareholders.

Ya I've been holding off on getting Go To IPA because $13.00 for a session IPA is a bit nuts to me, I mean All Day is $9.

    Vote with your wallets.

    That said, just a thought.

Sometimes things go up in price for the sake of consumer perception. When a product is priced lower than it's peers, it can be perceived as a lower quality.

A newer beer consumer may look at a $5.99 bomber of Stone sitting next to it's peer of equal value that costs $7.99, and wonder, "hmmm, what's wrong with the Stone? I'll go with the good stuff instead."

People are weird. Sometimes they fail to understand the difference between price and value.

Interesting, I haven't seen that in retail pricing yet and I was surprised by how much Go To was selling for.

Where in the world are you shopping?

    It's $4.99 at my local.

In regards to the topic, Stone pricing went down in 2014 for 6 packs. I can pick up Stone IPA 6 pack for $9.99.

    Keg theft too!

Holy shit, that's ridiculous for a "session" IPA. Granted, I'm here in California, but the highest I've seen it here is $9.99/sixer. Bombers range from $3.99 for the Smoked Porter and IPA to $6.99 for Enjoy By with most falling in between

Spirits mostly. Manahawkin. Seems to me like craft beer isnt in high demand here. I imagine canals would have better prices but its really out of the way
