I just got an email newsletter from Ray's Growler Gallery and it mentioned Stone returning to Wisconsin. Any insiders know when?

@Vitacca Any knowledge as far as what offering will initially be available? Full distribution, or limited?

Crowded market gets more crowded. :/

It may be crowded, but I think people know and respect Stone's offerings as being, generally, high-quality and tasty. Recently, there have been a number of start-up/smaller breweries that have been introducing mediocre product into distribution. I've been a Stone fan for over a decade, and am looking forward to seeing their beer back on local shelves.

Why do all the Arrogant Bastard beers appear (based on their website(s)) to be brewed by "Arrogant Bastard Brewing Co."?

I haven't looked at their website in years (ever?) but clearly there's something going on with their marketing that I don't fully appreciate.

I don't disagree, but I suspect many of the "buy local!!!"-types might.

Wisco market isn't even close to saturated. It's just a slog because it's so insular and local-centric.

Seems that it's part marketing ploy, and, speculatively, part insulation of the Arrogant Bastard line of beers from Stone as they are branching out with more unique brews - namely the Stochasticity line.

We should see everything on here except Enjoy By for this month.

Well, I'll finally get to taste an Enjoy By, eventually. Only thing I will buy from time to time is Arrogant. I have not been able to find any beer close enough to it in taste.

Xoco is well worth a try, if you've never had it. Great beer for the fall when the weather starts to cool off a bit.

I'll buy some of the monthly releases. I do like IRS and I'm not one to pass up a barleywine in the winter.

Very cool. I will certainly be buying some stone. Love their beers and their philosophy.

IRS and Old Guardian are some of the best beers available for cellaring. Stone helped me build quite a nice cellar year of year in SD. Happy to say they'll be doing the same here in Wisconsin.

Swear to god I'm giving up buying beer in Wisconsin if buying good Stone is as annoying as everything else is. EnjoyBy pretty please.

    Annoying? In what way?

MKE is dominated by truck chasers. If I want something fresh, I better show up at the store when they open and accept a one bottle limit or I'll never see it. I drink a fraction as much beer now as I did in Illinois and Georgia because it's just not worth the effort, gin and wine are easier. Definitely stocking up on Stone in Illinois at the end of the month, Binny's is always drowning in it.
