Went through a 6er over the weekend.

As most have said, not really a juice bomb type of beer (a positive to me), but I really didn't care for it. Tasted a bit dirty & stale to me even though just 3 weeks old. Wouldn't buy again.

Goes well with Tacos... but yeah... wouldn't buy again. There is just so much better in the same category.

And for the price, I'd rather just get Deschutes Fresh Squeezed. Similar taste; but juicier and more refreshing.

I felt the same way about this beer, though I bought it wanting it to be juicy (especially with the promise of "Juicy Hops" and "a juicy amount of grapefruit and passion fruit hoppiness.").

In the end I think they missed it due to their more than heavy hand of Cascade for bittering

I dunno, could it have been the Equinox? I'm usually up with Cascade-forward beers & appreciated them for a long time. Not so familiar with Equinox - & also heard not-so-great things about beers coming out of the Richmond facility (I'm on east coast, so assume it came from there?)

Maybe @StoneBrewingCo can provide insight on where this beer was produced?

    Cheers!

Not as juicy as advertised but still enjoyable.

Currently our Richmond facility is only packaging bottles, not cans. So it's safe to say any can of Stone beer you find came from Escondido (which packages in bottles and cans). Presently, Stone Ripper is only available in cans, so if you picked up a six pack, it's from Escondido.

    Cheers!

    David, thanks for your reply.

I am sure that @SunDevilBeer appreciates this input.

    Cheers!

Thought it was a solid beer but similar to the last couple times SN made "Tropical" IPA.. with as many juicy hop bombs everywhere now, not what I was expecting. Might have been the darker heavier malt taking away some of the juice. Good beer just not as advertised.

I'm a fan. its a solid balanced pale ale with a fruity hop in the background.
