    man, i paid $8.99 + tax

    does anyone know when this stuff was bottled? mine has a "best by" date of 8/23/12 - did i miss the good window on this?

    It was bottled at the end of May. First time I got to try it was on June 2nd.

    Stone best by dates are 3 months from bottling, so yours was bottled 5/23.

    hmm, a bit later than i normaly prefer a hop forward IPA/IIPA - anyone know if this will have deteriorated at all by now?

    I have had many of these including the initial release and for me it's picking up a lot of malty sweetness over the last few weeks, I had one last night and this was confirmed. Still good, but slowly morphing, the wonderful Citra dominated nose is now muted and replaced with a more caramel maltiness. I've got five left so it's cracking time. My east coast BA boys would probably love it right about now.
