Stone Soup-esque gathering in NYC

    Let's get this thread going again. Big gathering like Stone Soup, we all bring beer, a bar lets us host it, etc. I know some people were looking into venues in Brooklyn as well as Jimmy's in the East Village. I've lost their names due to the forum crashing. You kids still out there?

    hey friends. i have a venue in the city (below 14th) that would be willing to host a largeish gathering (i told him stone soup had 50ish). i'd have to confirm an actual date, but i was thinking some saturday or sunday around noon for a few hours. he owns a bottle shop/growler/pint place and it'd be a cool way to see a cool shop and have a great place to bring some great bottles.

    Just tell me when and where. I think with that amount of time to plan it, we could easily do 50 ppl.

    please post what weekends (sat. or sun. afternoon) would work for this. if you know what you'd be bringing, feel free to post that too. i'll get a google spreadsheet going closer to the time we'd do this (assuming enough people are interested) so we don't have unwanted duplicates.

    Definitely would like to make this. I'm available saturday april 21, sunday 4/22. 12/13 and 19/20 in may.

    Possible bottles would be Black Tuesday, Old Rasputin XII, Surly V, 2010 Alaskan Barleywine, Avery sours, Vertical Epic 09, etc. etc.

    I would definitely love to attend this. The 3rd weekend in April (21st or 22nd) or after would be best for me. Could bring Lost Abbey Serpent Stout, Imperial Stout Trooper, Bells Expedition Stout.. would have to take a look to see what else. Those are the couple that come to mind.

    I'm down, can't do easter weekend, or last weekend in May. Weekend is best, preferably a Friday evening or Saturday afternoon-night.

    April 14th is the LeBleu release also, which I'll be attending and maybe a few others as well I'd assume.
